I have had an epiphany that once again steers me into a new direction or I might say towards old beginnings. I am formally applying to attend Full Sail with hopes of becoming a real game developer and entering the industry.
My application is now in and waiting, and I managed to get one of my old employer's recommendation who I still keep in touch has turned out to be a good friend. I wrote five short paragraph responses for the application all packaged into an envelope I sent it out this morning and hopefully will hear good news this week.
In order to flex my muscles and catch up to speed I started playing more video games and reading more on the industry. I've immersed myself into IGDA, Gamasutra, GameDev, and CGSociety. In fact if you'd like to read my post on Full Sail it can be found at IGDA.
I can't wait to relocate to Florida, I got a fortune cookie back in August that I've put into the visor of my car.
